Born in Montreal (Canada), Marie Gray has completed grade school and high school in Laval, and obtained her college degree in Human Sciences in Montreal.
From 1982 to 1994, she toured across Canada as a singer with various rock bands and recorded two studio albums, one in French and the second one, Rock And a Hard Place, in English.
Since 1994, Marie Gray has devoted her time to her family and to writing songs and erotic short stories. She has also been very active in the publishing industry for several years. Having worked for a large book distributor in Quebec between tours and full time for many years, she joined the family publishing company in 1998.
In 2002, she recorded Chansons à faire rougir, a CD included in her fifth book, Rougir un peu, beaucoup, passionnément. These songs have been written and performed by Marie Gray in collaboration with x_funk, a team of composers consisting of Marie’s husband, Phillip Gray and Samuel Gauthier. Both composers have completed their music degree at Concordia University (jazz specialty). More Chansons à faire rougir are currently being written.
